Selection Process

2025 Selection Calendar:

July 2024: Nomination channel is opened
February 28 – March 15: First round of selection
March 15 – April 1: Second round of selection
April 15: Final selection: The ranking of the three major Innovation Awards will be selected no later than April 15
April 30: Ranking of Impact Awards
May 24: BEYOND Awards Ceremony

Process Description:
  1. First round of selection: Initial screening to ensure all shortlisted candidates meet the nomination criteria.
  2. Second round of selection: (N in 30) Each category will have 30 shortlisted candidates. Following the official selection criteria, the BEYOND Awards Committee judges will evaluate all selected projects and determine the shortlist for the final selection.
  3. Final selection: There will be 10 winning enterprises under each track.

Award Benefits:

  1. The Prestigious Trophy: The esteemed BEYOND Awards trophy, a symbol of excellence and innovation in your field.
  2. Investor Access: Free access to the BEYOND Fund-at-First-Pitch session with international VCs, offering a direct connection to potential funding sources.
  3. Exhibition Opportunity: 100% subsidy for a standard booth at BEYOND Expo (limited to one booth per company) to showcase award-winning products and projects to a global audience in Macao. The booth will feature a special BEYOND Awards winner logo, highlighting your achievement.
  4. Travel Subsidy: A Corporate member at the co-founder level will receive a Macao travel subsidy for BEYOND Expo 2024 (Economy class, limited to participating companies in Macao, with a subsidy limit of one person per company).
  5. Media Exposure: Winning enterprises may apply for exclusive media interview opportunities at BEYOND Expo, with the potential to be featured in prominent global media outlets.
  6. Speaking Engagement: Award recipients will have the opportunity to apply as speakers for the BEYOND Expo summit, gaining a platform to share insights and experiences on the main stage.

Nomination Details

  1. The nomination is open worldwide. All companies and institutions can apply via online nominations. The only official portal for self nominations is the BEYOND Awards official nomination site.
  2. Referral nominations are jointly nominated by BEYOND Expo sponsors and BEYOND Awards partners. The only official portal for nomination is the BEYOND Awards official nomination site.

BEYOND Awards 2025 Benefit Upgrade:

Nomination Benefits:
Selected by global partners and eligible for a 30 percent standard booth subsidy (3m * 3m, each company is limited to one booth and cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with other discounts).
Enterprises must meet the BEYOND Awards 2024 [Nomination Qualification] and complete independent nominations.

Eligible Benefits:
1. Any enterprise that passes the selection process can get one free start-up booth (1.5m * 1.5m), and exhibitors can enjoy the registration qualification for various exhibitor activities. Enterprises must meet the following conditions:
– Within 5 years of the establishment of the enterprise;
– First exhibiting.
2. Free registration to participate in the on-site Fund at First Pitch event.

Nomination Qualification

All nomination materials must be submitted through the official website registration portal by March 10, 2025, at 11:59 pm EDT. No extensions for any reason or any materials committed through other channels are accepted.

  1. Industry: Open to all innovative technologies, products, and solutions that contribute to industrial and social development. The industry should belong to the "Healthcare","ClimateTech" and "ConsumerTech" areas that the BEYOND lnnovation Awards focus on.
  2. The applicant must be a legally registered company or legal institution.
  3. Nominated projects must be first listed/published after March 1, 2024, or must be expected to be listed before March 1, 2025, or be technologies or projects published during this period and have acquired relevant intellectual property.
  4. The technology and products submitted with the application must not infringe any intellectual property rights including but not limited to patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  5. The products or projects must be submitted in the relevant product category. Specific categories with built-in options can be found in the nomination form on the official website.
  6. Each nomination must be submitted in jpg format and must not exceed 16 MB in size. For intangible products, applicants canj submit screenshots or diagrams.
