About Us
BEYOND Expo is the “Tech Super Bowl of Asia”—Asia’s most influential science and technology innovation event and industry matchmaking platform. Every year in Macao, it brings together the world’s top technology companies, investment institutions, government representatives, and innovation ecosystem builders, focusing on artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced manufacturing, enterprise services, and frontier technology fields, committed to making every connection create real value.
Role Positioning
Fully oversee the brand’s global marketing strategy and communications system. The core mission is to upgrade marketing from the existing “media execution and event support” into a systematic global growth engine. By integrating content communication, media relations, the KOL ecosystem, and a global resource-exchange partnership network, you will continuously enhance BEYOND’s brand momentum worldwide and directly drive the recruitment and deep participation of core customer groups such as exhibitors, professional audiences, investment institutions, and government stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Global Marketing Strategy and Annual Battle Map
- Develop an annual integrated marketing strategy and execution calendar, and coordinate differentiated approaches and cadence across three major regional markets: China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan), Asia-Pacific, and Europe & America.
- Design complete customer acquisition paths and value communication logic for exhibitor recruitment, professional buyer/investor invitation, and government and institutional cooperation, deeply aligning marketing cadence with the KPIs of each business unit, and set annual OKRs and a full-funnel ROI evaluation system.
Content Communication and Thought Leadership
- Lead the brand content strategy and systematically transform core on-site assets—keynote insights, new product debut launches, business matchmaking cases, and investment matching deal stories—into high-virality content throughout the year (trend insights, white papers, video columns, etc.), establishing a content production pipeline of “collection → curation → distribution → amplification.”
- Coordinate owned channels such as the internal WeChat Official Account, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn, Podcast, etc., to build a year-round, always-on content marketing engine.
Expansion of a Global Resource-Exchange Partnership Network (Core Differentiated Capability)
- Comprehensively manage and expand BEYOND’s marketing partnership network, upgrading non-cash resource-exchange partnerships with media, communities, associations, government groups, investment institutions, etc., from simple “brand exposure swaps” to year-round, deeply aligned joint growth partnerships.
- Design differentiated collaboration models and benefit systems for different types of partners, enabling them to produce quantifiable contributions in areas such as early-stage exhibitor recruitment, professional audience invitation, investor recruitment, and content co-creation.
- Establish a tiered partner management system and performance tracking mechanism, continuously optimizing the structure and output efficiency of the partnership network.
- Goal: Upgrade marketing partnerships from “distribution channels” to “customer acquisition channels.”
Strategic Upgrade of Media Relations and the KOL Ecosystem
- Manage and deepen a global matrix of 200+ international and regional core media outlets, upgrading from “sending press releases” to year-round content co-creation partnerships that serve exhibitor recruitment and audience acquisition.
- Build and operate a global brand ambassador network covering top investors, star entrepreneurs, technology leaders, and industry analysts, transforming from “one-off collaborations” to “long-term trust endorsements.”
- Coordinate KOL content co-creation and communication synergy, ensuring brand messages achieve viral diffusion across key circles at critical moments.
Commercial Conversion and Full-Funnel Growth
- Work closely with the commercial team to design a complete conversion path from brand exposure to registration/exhibiting/sponsorship, ensuring traffic generated by the marketing partnership network can be effectively received and converted.
- Oversee global paid media strategy (LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and regional localized channels) to achieve scaled reach among high-net-worth audiences.
- Establish a data-driven growth mechanism so that input-output across channels is trackable and attributable.
Team and Management
- Directly manage the marketing team (new media content, operations, design), driving the team’s upgrade from “execution-support” to “strategy-driven.”
- Establish annual collaboration mechanisms with parallel departments such as commercial/sponsorship, content/forums, event operations, and community, embedding marketing cadence into each department’s business cycle.
Requirements
Hard Requirements
- 8+ years of marketing experience, including at least 3+ years of cross-national/cross-regional marketing leadership experience, with relevant experience in large-scale exhibitions/conventions, B2B platforms, international media, or global technology brands.
- Experience in strategy development and execution across markets (Greater China / Asia-Pacific / Europe & America), with an understanding of business cultures and trust-building paths in different regions.
- Extensive experience managing “non-cash consideration resource-exchange partnerships,” with a successful track record of converting non-paid partners such as media, associations, and communities into customer acquisition channels with quantifiable contributions.
- Excellent Chinese and English, able to use both as working languages to directly engage global partners and media.
- Proven planning ability and successful cases in upgrading media relations from “press release distribution” to “deep content co-creation.”
Preferred Qualifications
- Possesses senior-level network resources with investment institutions, technology company founders, or innovation department executives at international companies.
- Experience building a cross-national marketing system from 0 to 1 or restructuring a marketing team.
- Familiar with the content discourse systems in fields such as AI, robotics, and enterprise services.
What We Look For in You
- Strategic thinking: able to plan marketing cadence from a full-year, holistic perspective rather than responding to business needs deal by deal.
- Systems builder: not satisfied with “completing one partnership,” but distilling each collaboration into reusable, iterable methodologies and collaboration models.
- Ecosystem operator: understands the essential difference between “marketing partnerships” and “business partnerships”—the former uses mutual trust and resources to reinforce each other, pursuing long-term win-win outcomes for both sides.
- Results-oriented: uses data to prove marketing value and drives the team’s transformation from a “cost center” to a “growth engine.”
What We Offer
- The opportunity to operate and bring a China-based technology event to the global stage.
- Daily direct dialogue with Fortune 500 innovation presidents, partners of RMB 10 billion+ funds, and top technology leaders.
- The strategic space to build a global marketing system from 0 to 1 and define industry standards.
